In 2023, the Village and Township hope to adopt and publish a revision to the 2012 joint comprehensive plan. A comprehensive plan provides a vision for the future of the community along with the steps that are needed to make that vision a reality. It is the basis for land use regulations and provides a nexus between the community's future vision and the regulation of private property. The 2023 draft version, completed by a joint working group, is grounded in those plans that came before it with a renewed perspective on our current community landscape.

The Village and Township are planning outreach events in the coming weeks to collect additional community input before completing the final version.
